Visit to Pokrovsky complex holding the divine intercession of Pskov by the Holy Virgin and the defeat of the king of Poland Stephen Batory (1581) in remembrance; visit to the monument to Alexander Nevsky - a great commander, who defeated German knights on the ice of Chudskoye Lake in 1242).

9.30 - departure to the Pechory.

11.00 -13.00 - tour of the Pskovo-Pechorsky Monastery- one of the most ancient Russian monasteries. Visit to the caves of the monastery that are a burial vault for monks and representatives of famous noble families - the Buturlins, the Nazimovs, the Suvorovs, the Pushkins, the Musorgskys.

13.00 - departure to the Old Izborsk- the main western outpost in the system of Pskov defense. The city of Old Isborsk was first mentioned in the chronicles in 862 when Truvor, brother of Russian Royal family ancestor – Rurikh, chose Izborsk as his official residence.

13.30 - 16.00 - dinner at the pancake house of the Old Izborsk where the President of Russia V. Putin dined. Tour of the Izborsk Fortress; visit to the Springs of the Twelve Apostles, which give Health, Love, Wealth to everybody.

16.00 - return to Pskov.

19.00 - supper.

9.00 - 18.00 - departure to Pushkinskiye Gory. Visit to Mikhailovskoye - the family estate of the great Russian poet Pushkin, Trigorskoye - the estate of Pushkin’s friends, the Osipov-Wulfs, and the poet’s tomb in the Svyatogorsky monastery famous by marvellous signs of the wonder-making icons “Umileniye” and “Odigitriya” which took place in the 16-th century and are going on at the present time.

18.00 – Return to Pskov and departure.
